Australian War Memorial

Alloyfold played a key role in the Australian War Memorial's 2024 installation, providing 211 Viva Seats designed for comfort, durability, and style in the Memorial's tiered-seating theatre, ideal for seminars, conferences, and award presentations. 

Located in Canberra, the Memorial honours the sacrifices of Australian service members in all wars. 

The project involved supplying heavy-duty fabric Viva seats, including 39 removable ones, along with LED Aisle Lights featuring illuminated row IDs and seat numbers, all customised to meet the Memorial’s needs. 

The ergonomic, durable Viva seats, made with steel, cold-moulded foam, and quality upholstery, ensured comfort for visitors. 

The theatre is equipped with the latest audio-visual technology, including a cinema-quality projector, PA system, hearing loop, complimentary Wi-Fi, and wheelchair access. 

Alloyfold’s 5-day installation, by a team of four contractors, involved close coordination with the Memorial team to ensure everything was completed on time. 

The result was a seamless integration of functional, comfortable seating that enhanced the visitor experience and met the Memorial's needs for flexibility and long-term use.
